CLASS HOURS: Tuesday 9.00-12.00
DESCRIPTION: This course introduces students to architectural documentaries related with urbanism. Through readings of selected texts, the course will examine transformations in urban life from the second half of 20th century to now. Course is designed to understand new urban issues via the architectural documentaries.

CONDUCT: You will be assigned a homework- a paragraph critical text related to that day’s reading/documentary which will be due to the day before that class and no late submission will be allowed. After sixth week, a take-home exam will be assigned. As a final project, you will take a critical minimum 10 minutes video from city you choose.
ASSESSMENT: Homework 40%
Midterm I 20%- Take-home Exam (after sixth week)
Final Project 40%
